Welcome to GCI 2008 Lagos, NIGERIA

Introduction

The 2008 GCI Annual All-Youths Conference and Arts Festival is scheduled to hold from 29th November 2008 to 2nd December 2008, at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

This event will bring together all youths in various institutions of higher learning in Nigeria and around the world. It will showcase their achievements, challenges, talents, information exchange, and present awards. It will provide opportunities for them to interact with professionals from various institutions, companies, and agencies.

Healthy living for all youth.
Violence amongst youth, taking action to create Peace Initiatives within campuses.
Youth helping youth, youth leadership, and community action.
Youth and Drug abuse. Human Rights, Youth Perspectives on Development, Early Marriage and Adolescent Girls.
Youth Unemployment situation:-Life Skills and Career Building.
Tools for youth to help in achieving the MDGs, learning to speak MDGs and youth activism.
Empowering young people through ICT-with ICT based capacity building.
